here I've used domestic materials (breadboard) and feminine imagery to obscure a specific sentiment. the words are intentionally hard to read and painted over to give you a moment of discovery. it mirrors how language directed at woman is often loaded, half-concealed and internalized.

small boards are 26” x 19” and the large boards are roughly 34 1/2” x 18” (to the end of the handle). there is some variation on the large boards depending on how old they are (they shrink from the heat over time).
